It is still a wonderful time to get bushels of Extra Sweet Sweet Corn for barbecues, picnics, family gatherings, and also for freezing and canning.
It is Michigan Sweet Peach Time! We are speeding through the varieties with the summer heat that we have had. After the Star line-up of Michigan Peaches, the next peach is Harmony.
Mr. and Mrs. Sweet Corn Charlie went to visit the orchards in Michigan where we got some of our bulk bins of peaches. The trees in the peach orchard were loaded with red Harmony Peaches. Tami picked off a tree ripened to eat. She said, "Oh My Goodness! It is so sweet and yummy... as the juice was running down her hand!"
We have Peaches by the pound, ½ Peck Bag and quantities are available by special order.
At our markets, we also have these Peach items: Vanilla Peaches, Peach Preserves, and Peach Salsa. They are kosher and preservative free making them a healthy choice for you and your family.
All Markets will be open normal hours before the Labor Day Holiday. We are always closed on Sunday and we will be closed on Monday, September 1 for Labor Day. See Locations and Hours for more information.
