It is Michigan Sweet Peach Time! We are speeding through the varieties with the summer heat that we have had. After the Harmony Michigan Peaches, the next peach is Red Skin.
Mr. and Mrs. Sweet Corn Charlie went to visit the orchards in Michigan where we got some of our bulk bins of peaches. The trees in the peach orchard were loaded with red Harmony Peaches. Tami picked off a tree ripened to eat. She said, "Oh My Goodness! It is so sweet and yummy... as the juice was running down her hand!"

We can see the end of the tunnel as far as our farm markets closing for the season. We do not have an exact date...a lot depends on the weather.
